Mike and I have been planning this day for months, well more me than him. I knew I wanted both families to be surprised. Mike and I decided to wait till we could tell everyone the gender to be the day we announced as well.
I made a Facebook group for a "surprise" birthday lunch for Mike and invited our families to TGI Fridays in Sandy. I had to pick a place that was only in Sandy and near the South Town. Not to mention it is where we first met. I let them all think he knew nothing about it and of course he was scheming right along side me.

I made Peyton a Big Sister shirt to pass the time this week. We waited for our families to arrive at the restaurant and when they were all there we walked in and Mike acted surprised. He then said "We actually have a surprise of our own" and told everyone to "read Peyton's shirt." It was amazing everyone was surprised! Mike then proceeded to tell them "Oh and by the way after lunch we are going over to the Fetal Studio to find out the gender". They were even more SHOCKED! Everyone wanted to know how far along I was and how sick I am and things like that. I have been waiting 3 and half months to tell and it was worth the wait!

We then headed to the Studio and in a big room they have a projector and an ultra sound machine. The doctor showed us the head and face, then showed us the heart beating. The baby put it's hands up by its face and sucked on its thumb. So cute! The doctor said girls usually have their hands by there face and boys usually have their hands between their legs. Then it was gender time! This stubborn baby stayed profile for a bit. He had me cough a few times and nothing. Eventually after some poking we saw it. BOY! A few more angles he confirmed 100% boy! How wonderful! Houston Michael Hall! The doctor measured him and said you are about 14 weeks and 1 day! Which puts my due date around August. 10th! I'm glad he moved me back up to where I thought I was. He said the baby is a large lemon now.

Mike and I are both still in shock. I think we are most shocked it's a boy. I can't wait to get little suits for church and to do his hair in a faux hawk. I'm excited to have legos, trucks and dinosaurs everywhere. I am also happy Peyton will have a protector so close in age. Brothers are the best!
Pregnancy is getting more real, I have been sick. I'd say maybe 2 out of 7 days I have an episode. With Peyton it was like 12 times a day. I think that is why it has been hard for me to "feel" pregnant. I am starting to get a bump! We are in the Second Trimester and that is just crazy to me! Here is the survey I filled out with Peyton. I thought it would be fun to do it again.

How far along are you? 14 weeks and 2 days!
Total weight gain/loss: Up 4 four pounds at 12 weeks and down 2 pounds now.
Maternity clothes? Only 1 day a week, I can still fit into most of my jeans and all of my shirts.
Sleep: It is getting harder to sleep, my back is already hurting. I also wake up twice in the night to tinkle.
Best Moment this week: Yesterday, finding out the gender and telling everyone!
Movement: Light flutters, but nothing for sure. I think its all in my head.
Food Cravings: Anything salty! Pickles and chips :)
Gender: I thought it was a girl up until yesterday. BOY!
Labor Signs: None
Belly Button: Still very in :)
What I miss: Not having a mega nose. I hate that I smell every little thing. I also miss running... This summer will be hard when I can't sign up for any races.
What I am looking forward to: Holding our sweet little baby boy!
Weekly Wisdom: Eat when it is the last thing you want to do. It helps me not vomit, ironically!

Are we crazy?

The first time I knew.
I felt OFF the whole day. I woke up and got ready for the day as I put my jewlery on I couldn't remember which hand my wedding ring went on so I put it on and about 7PM that night I was sitting in a Relief Society meeting and I saw a sisters ring and thats when I realized that my ring is on the wrong hand. Many of you are thinking psh no big deal.
I came home and told Mike this story I said let me tell you why I think I'm Pregnant. I'm starting to lose my mind! He laughed and said well I guess you will just have to wait and see.

A week later
I've taken about 10 test the last week... Finally last night was the first time I saw a hint of a line! I have taken 5 more test and they are all really faint. I haven't started yet so I guess we will see. I'm still not 100% I think it's because I don't feel sick. Other than the ocasional tummy ache, but I dont feel pregnant. With Pey I knew the night before even taking a test that I was. It's interesting how this one is already different, isn't it?

I was busy buying Wicked tickets all morning and forgot to eat breakfast. As I walked out the door I took a prenatal pill on an empty stomach just in case. That's about the time I started feeling nauseous. I met my friends at Sammys for lunch and shakes. I ate a huggin huge shake. As we walked to the car I was having a hard time keeping that shake down. My friends noticed and I lied... I went home and put Pey down for a nap. Then took a test. + Yes it is true PREGNANT!
My thoughts were: well that explains the sickness, but I don't feel pregnant yet like I did with Pey. Then I was like oh crap Mike is going to be home in a half hour and how the crap am I going to tell him in a fun cute way. I remembered a card I had got just for this occasion a while back. I taped a test inside just f

and inside it says "Get ready for a whole new kind of "download."

I guess this puts my due date August 11th. I have thought about this long and hard. I have always loved being the oldest. Which means yes baby #2 will be as well I know the cut off is Sept. 1st, but I don't care.

How it went?

Mike came home from a meeting ticked. I talked it out with him and reminded him that old people didn't grow up with technology and to not freak out. (long story) After he vented I said oh hey I got you something. He read it and then opened it I taped my test inside. He said "No Way!" We were both surprised it happened so fast. Pey took a little while, but this one was ready and didn't hesitate.

Hall Baby #2

I have first say to all of you that I have lied to the past couple weeks I'm sorry! I know it is just going to get harder and harder too.
Tonight my Mother-In-Law said " I guess it's time to have another one and laughed knowing that we are "trying"I told her yup we are trying so we will see. Then my parents came over and the card I gave Mike was sitting on the table with the test inside. I don't know if they saw it or not... Oh and Tillie was doing my hair yesterday and I was like is it ok for when I do get pregnant to do this. I'm sure glad she said yes except the hormons could effect the process and color.
I have only been nauseous twice so far and no throwing up! How exciting I know and it's only because I am hungry and didn't eat and took prenatals on an empty stomach.
I had Mike take a picture of me while I still have abs and am at my skinnest 140, 5 weeks along. I guess here we go again, I've jumped on the fat train. I just keep telling my self you reached your goal and you can do it again, lets just stay under 200 pounds this time. :)
5 Weeks

6 Weeks 12.20.11 I'm feeling more and more nauseous everyday. I forced my self out of bed and down stairs to get some bread. I knew I needed something in my stomach fast. Eating is the last thing I want to do when I am about the vomit. I am really going to try hard to wait to tell everyone till February. I have a plan! I am worried that they are going to figure it out it is hard not to complain about it. I thew a party for Peyton and that night I was done. I needed sleep and my back was KILLING me. I had to just suck it up and smilie, I think they all bought it.

7 Weeks I am so nauseous today, but I feel like I can still function. I have yet to hug some porcelain even though I feel like it all the time. Mike and I are going on a cruise in 2 weeks and I'm really worried about the motion sickness of the boat and the pregnancy colliding to make me dead the whole trip. I looked back on my previous post when I was just 6 weeks with Peyton and how dead I was. I have to say this one seems to be a little easier not by much, but just enough. We went to NYC for our annie and I was about 7 or 8 weeks. It was so sick the whole time hence the reason I'm worried about being on a boat.

8 Weeks We were up late last night and I felt it a lot today. Pey woke up at 7:00 AM and it was really hard getting up to get her. I have a sore throat, runny nose and a lot of nausea. I can't get enough sleep. Mike brought me breakfast in bed and I was having a really hard time keeping it down. I have started gaging when I brush my teeth.

10 Weeks. 01.15.12 Well we just got back from a Caribbean cruise and I am so tired! I was so sick the first day on the ship, but other than that it went really well. I don't have any cravings yet. I do like food a lot more with this one and I've learned I get sick on an empty stomach so I am constantly eating something. It has helped so much. I am showing a lot faster and gaining weight fast too which is to be expected and no help from the all you can eat food on the cruise. I hope no one notices my little bump for at least another four weeks, this secret keeping is so much harder than I thought it would be. So far my first 10 weeks with Hall baby #2 have been different than my first 10 with Peyton. I keep thinking maybe this baby will be calm? Wishful thinking, I know. Another part of me thinks well maybe it's a boy I've heard you might get sicker with one sex and not the other. Something is telling me I have another little girl in there, but I've been wrong before so no guesses here.

11 Weeks 01.19.12 One more week till I get to go to the doctor and hear this babies heart beat and it can't come fast enough. I have been a little more nauseas this week. Which makes it harder to hide from family and friends. I have had my first cravings 1. A&W Rootbeer and 2. an Arbys melt. Strange I know, I ate them and it only enhanced the craving. So far I'm just glad its not Milk. Now that Peyton is 1 we give her whole Milk and that would just fatten me right up. I did try it and it does taste really good, but defiantly irresistible. Unlike it would have been with Pey.

12 weeks 01.27.12 or so I thought, we went to the doctor today and he bumped me back a week so I am only 11 weeks.... Which makes my due date August 17. I'm pretty bummed because that means it will be another 3 weeks instead of 2 weeks before we tell anyone. I'm not going to give much detail, but I forgot to give him an important date which makes me think I'm really still 12 weeks (my fault) I'll just have to wait till he does the ultra sound and measures the baby and belly. I told the doctor "I feel like I just had a week of my life taken away from me" I was half joking. Don't get me wrong I am very grateful to even be pregnant. Thanks for listening to me vent. I weigh 144 at the doctors which means to stay under my goal I can only gain 46 more pounds he he he. On the other hand we got to her the baby's heart beat today! Which is always so special and it makes everything more real. It was fast and strong. I think Mike and I are still in a kind of in shocked mode since it happened so fast. They did my blood work and boy do I hate that. I think the needles and the IVs are one of the worst parts of pregnancy. Mike is always wonderful at supporting me and coming with me. Pey had her own appointment because she is sick. There you have it. Oh and just because I am me and very stubborn person I'm not moving my appoint to find out the sex :)

Today 01.31.12 I had a very gross puking bathroom experience happen to me and that is all I'm going to say about that. Ask me and I'll tell you all about it. This kid is going to be the death of me. :)

Puerto Rico

Mike and I were finally able to go on our Cruise that has been booked for a year and half now. I got pregnant with Pey and was too far along to with all of the family and friends. Mike and I went by ourselves on this adventure.

We dropped Peyton off with Mi Mi and Pa Pa and it actually wasn't too hard because we still had so much to do that night. Payden and Annette picked us up including Kilo and we went and dropped him off in Sandy at the Tesch's. Then it was off to the airport. We were pretty early so we started on a mini series called Downton Abbey and we highly recommend it.

The plane ride was okay, we arrived in ATL around 4:00am and I was dead tired. Then we left there about 6:00 and arrived in Puerto Rico. We got a taxi and found our apartment in Old Town San Juan.
We were excited to get out and walk the city. It was a Thursday the day before 3 Kings so there were a lot of people and celebrations going on.

There was this little cafe a block down from our apartment. The lunch was amazing! I think it is safe to say this was our favorite meal and moment together. Romantic and peaceful. I will never forget it.

The streets were like this in Old Town. This picture doesn't do justice to how cool they really are.

Friday

This little kid came and jumped in the picture. I couldn't stop laughing. His mom kept yelling at him to get out and I told Mike just to take it. She said to me "I can't get him to smile in our pictures!" There he is smiling away with me it was really funny.
Behind me the locals were flying kites, there were tons and they kept crashing and I was a little worried.

After the fort we went to the cemetery. All of the caskets are not underground because of the water table. It was kind of creepy and cool at the same time.

We rode a trolley everywhere, Mike thought this poster was funny because in the bottom left you can see they call it "The Walkable City"

Mike and his La Caprese he ordered it everwhere we went and I didn't mind. YUM!

So this is our apartment that we stayed in for three days. Mike is locking the door. Watch the video for a full scale tour.

Happy New Year!

Here you have the first anual Hallish Christmas card!
This year has just flown right by! Mike and I were just talking about how he lost his job in the beginning of last year and how he has been at SolutionStream for 10 months now. It seems just yesterday we were stressing about where he was going to work.
*Mike couldn't be happier he loves his job. He is busy designing which is what he loves. He also serves as the Wolf Den leader and is over the 8 year old boys and helps them earn their belt-loops and achievements and work toward their Wolf. He got his first duck this year and also went out on his first Utah deer hunt. For fun he plays Xbox with his friends online, travels and watches BYU and the Utah Jazz. Most of all he loves spending time with his family.
*Nikki works full time at home raising and training Peyton and Kilo. Every day she goes to bed exhausted from a day full of wrestling and herding. When she gets some spare time she has taken up running and has run in many different races in the last year. She also has started feeling crafty and has been sewing everything from bows, to skirts, to dresses. She got a sewing machine for Christmas so her creativity can no longer be bridled. We were recently released as the Sunbeam teachers and Nikki was called to be an Achievement Days leader for the ward. For fun she loves hanging out with her lady friends and has joined the Chick-fil-a "Mommy Club." She keeps cheering on her Utah Utes and Jazz. Her family loves her and she loves them.
*Peyton is growing one year old. She loves reading and riding her pony. She is a hyper little thing who only stops moving for a couple hours a day. She is an eating machine, she will eat anything that is put in front of her. She is talking and walking with ease and only slows down give you a hug. She is just like her mom and hates bows. She ripes them out of her hair the second we put them there. She very tall and is in 18-24 month clothes. Her favorite song is the "Hot Dog" song from Mickey Mouse Club House. She went to Disneyland for the first time this year. She also went to Stadium of Fire and Camping. Her favorite College football team has yet to be determined. She loves her puppy and likes to tease him. She gets spoiled every Sunday at Grandma and Grandpa houses. She is a happy little girl who loves everyone and everyone loves her.
*Kilo is a new addition the family. He is 120lbs and is now one year old as well. He loves to gnaw on his bone and run around in the back yard. He has recently learned how to play fetch. All of the neighbor kids adore him except his vicious tail. He is a good boy and we love him very much.

Ugly Sweater Christmas Parties
Mike and the men in the family went to MI3 while Pey and I when to a few family and friend parties.
I just used a previous years shirt, but make hers. I told Mike that since he wasn't going to be there I was going to make fun of BYU. When he saw her ugly sweater he said "I think it's funny and cleaver." I'm glad he was a good sport.

Twas the night before Christmas and we were not at our house. Saturday we spend the day cleaning in the morning then off to the movies. We saw New Years Eve and it was actually really funny and I loved it because Zac Effron was in it! Then we headed to The Halls to share our favorite scripture of Christ and to read Luke 2 it always amazes me how emotional Luke 2 makes me especially thinking about Christ as a baby and thinking about Peyton when she was born.
We then opened up our PJs and and Peyton opened up some presents from Mi Mi and Pa Pa. Which she is now playing with as I write this. Books and Blocks is what she loves! We headed home and went to bed.

I woke up somewhere around 5 and went back to sleep then around 7:00 and Mike said you have to wait for Peyton to wake up to go down stairs. He went back to sleep and I went and woke up Peyton shh he dosen't know that. :) All week I have been telling her not to touch the presents and so when it came time to open them she wasn't really sure. We opened presents and if you know Mike and I we try to surprise each other every year. Even thought we have the universal wish list from Amazon. (if you don't know what that is, Google it. Its Amazing!) We both got spoiled and had a lot of fun watching

We then realized we were going to be late and got ready and headed to my parents ward the one I grew up in. It was fun to see everyone I really miss that ward. It was so quite too. They only have 1 nursery compared to our Lehi ward that has 5 to 7. Then we went to my parents for Peyton to open her big present from Grandma P. She wasn't quite sure about it at first, but now that we have it home she keep hugging it. Then we went to The Halls for family presents and dinner. It is always so fun to see both families and Mike and I are extra spoiled because they are a block or 2 apart. Pa Pa got his beef stick which is his favorite! Then we stopped the present opening because Elder Matthew Hall was on Skype! Yes we got to see him and talk to him again. He got to see Pey and how she had grown. He is coming home the 4th of February! He is well and happy very sad to leave his mission though don't bring that up. Even though we are so very excited to have him home.
Then it was back to opening presents when all of the presents were opened and everything was cleaned up. My adorable husband said Nikki I have a surprise for you. I laughed and jokingly said a sowing machine. The story behind that was I read a text a to his mom about my Christmas present being a sowing machine I then told him about how I knew and he told me he returned it and was pretty mad. I won't do that again. So back to when I said that I thought there was NO WAY it could be a sowing machine I thought I was banned from that thought forever! Sure enough it was and it is amazing.
This family has been extremely spoiled this holiday season. Peyton has more toys than I know what to do with. The love really has been over whelming.

Then it was back to my parents later that night. Where Peyton got a pony!! She wan't sure about him at first, but now I can't get her away from him. She now brushes his mane with a fork...

Even though I just sat and told you all what we got I want you to know that I know that is not what Christmas is all about. I just wrote all that because I want to be able to look back and remember how I felt. If you take something from this post know that the true meaning CHRISTmas is the most important. The birth of my savior and brother Jesus Christ. I love him and am so blessed to have the gospel in my life.

1 Year

She got 6 shots at her 1 year check up, poor kid. She did much better with the shots than earrings by far. She is 32'' long and 20.6 something pounds which puts her in the 97th percentile for height and 52nd for weight! He asked me how many words she is saying I said oh about 15 I think he said WOW she is good then. I guess they have to be saying at least 2. I made a list because I wanted to know how many she says. Ma Ma, Da Da, Ba Ba, Kilo, Sit, Down, OOO and OH, Hi, Uh Oh, MMM, Co Co, Mi Mi, Nigh Night, Right There, NO, Thank You. I think i'm missing a couple, but those she can all say. She signs more and points when I ask her were something is. She also knows to be "soft" with Kilo. Any many more. As far as what can't say, but understands what I'm talking about amazes me. For example I tell her to "Turn Around" to go down the stair on her belly and she knows she just needs that little reminder or else she will just stand at the top and throw stuff down them...

This month Peyton has continued to amaze me. Her personality is really shining through, even the stubborn side.
* No is her favorite word... She doesn't know what it means because I was saying it to my dog. I've tried to never say no to her unless its a big deal. I just distract her with something else so I don't have to say it. She is also saying mi mi (minnie mouse), co co (Colton) and Hi especially when she has her phone up to her ear...
*She fell out of the crib, bad parenting on my part. I should have lowered it. I didn't think she's climb over, but one morning she came crawling in the hall way with a bloody lip luckily the tears and blood didn't last long. I won't ever make that mistake again.
*Pey sleeps from 10 to 8 depending on the day and if she is teething. Sometimes she cries and sometimes she just plays in her crib for a while and lets me sleep in.
*She loves books, that's all she wants to do. I know that is from her dad because I don't read!
* She is now only walking if she does crawl it's rare. She also tries to run, but trips in her jeans.
* The hotdog song from Mickey Mouse club house is her favorite. Mike sings it all the time....
* I gave her a skittle and she was in 7the heaven! She LOVED it. She said mmm like 10 times with 1 skittle.
* Last month Mike and I took her to my parents and she played in the leaves. She kept crunching them in her hands.
* She loves the wind, I worry it will get her sick, but she laughs when it hits her face.
* She has 2 bottom teeth and I kid you not she is getting 5 on top. She wakes up and just cries I hate it, it breaks my heart. Luckily I have the numbing stuff and it works. Yes I tried it to see :)
* I had a Relief Society dinner the same night Mike had Scouts so I had to take Pey. I put her in with the Nursery kids so I could hear the speaker. I teared up a little then I realized how nice it was to be able to listen again. The next 8 months church is going to be very difficult.
* My friend Kristen and I were shopping and I guess we say "Cute" a lot because we put a bow on Pey's head and very clearly she said CUTE! We both looked at each other and laughed. From now on when I put a bow on her head I get her to say it. :)
* She absolutely loves food and sugar! If I make her a bottle or rice cereal she won't drink it if she knows there is other food cooking or being eaten.
* She went to her first movie The Muppets. She was good for the first part. Then wanted to walk around. Then wore her self out running in the Hall. When she fell asleep I got to watch a the end of it.
* She is a mooch! If she sees something cool or yummy she wants it and doesn't care who you are! Like the people behind in the movie had popcorn and she wanted some. Her yogurt melts weren't doing the job.
* I can't take her to the store. First because she hates sitting in the cart, I showed her she could stand in the big area and now that is all she wants to do. Crap. Second because all of the elderly want to see the little girl I get stuck talking to random people. A quick trip for Milk or something in non existent.
* We were in line at In-N-Out and she kept saying "mmm mmm mmm." I decided we go there too much.
*We took her 1 year pictures and she was an onry butt the whole time, she didn't even smile when eating the cake, but she LOVED it. I think she would have ate the whole thing if I would have let her.

Pey had her first fever. She woke up and was fine, but I noticed she was really cuddly and just wanted to be held. Which is not like her at ALL! We were just watching some Disney when I felt how hot she was I took her temp and it was 102.8 I was a mess. I was so worried I called up my doctor and luckily a nurse calmed me down. Mike left work and brought me some baby Tylenol which is what the nurse said to do. I gave her a bath with the water at room temperature another thing the nurse said to do. It was going down a few hours later it was at 100.3 I held her all day and she slept a lot and just wanted to be close to me. It was really sweet. In a way I'm kind of glad I got to have that cute little sick day with her. Other than the fact I was scared out of my mind. Oh and I learned later the reason for the fever is that she was cutting (getting) her top two teeth.

December 19th
Pey woke up early sheesh she didn't even sleep in on her birthday ;) Daddy got to wish her a happy Birthday before work though. She ate her favorite breakfast and we played for a few hours just me and her giggling she was really really happy. I kept singing Happy Birthday to her just to get her ready ha ha ha. Then we cleaned and rearranged furniture for her party that night.
We got ready and headed to the mall, we met up with my friend Kristen. We went down to Clairs and waited in line for 45 min. Finally it was our turn they asked to see my ID. Sure enough I didn't have it because a few months earlier I lost it, it this same mall.... GREAT the girl said she couldn't do it with out the mothers ID. So my friend Kristen said well what if I'm the mom now and the girl said no. I was MAD. I've been waiting a year to do this. We walked around for a bit while I tried to calm down. We then walked passed Icing and I asked Kristen if she'd be Peytons mom for a bit. We went in and waited forever again. Finally the pearcing came.
I had to hold her arms and her head. It reminded me of her getting shots. They did one and the tears began to fall. I tried not to cry because i'm not suppose to be her mom. Then they hurried and did the second one she was so sad and cried and cried and cried. Kristen comforted her then gave her to me. It was so sad. They gave her a sucker and that quickly calmed her down. As we left they said to Kristen you are a really good mom we can tell you love her so much. I said well that will be a fun story for years to come and I'll be happy to return the favor.

It was simple small family and close friend party. We ate and opened presents. She got lots of clothes books and toys. The highlight of the night was her eating the cake that Mi Mi made just for her.

Happy Birthday and Thanksgiving!

This year my birthday was the day before Thanksgiving.

Tuesday- My family went to Sammy's in Pleasant Grove. It was BOGO so it was prefect. Who doesn't want free shakes? MMM Peach Cobbler and Raspberry Cheesecake are my fav so far. Any way it was a lot of fun just eating junk with the Fam bam. And opening presents of course. Thanks everyone!

Wednesday- My Birthday~! My best friend Kristen came over and did my hair and got Peyton all ready. It was wonderful! I couldn't figure out how to curl my hair with a straightener, but she thought me! So you will probably see a lot more pics with me in curls and Mike loves it that way. We hung out and watched GTU then headed to lunch at Zupas with Emilee, Mckell and their kids. I really love the soup they have. It was so fun catching up with everyone.

That night Mike came home from work and we dropped Pey off with Grandma Parry and headed to SLC! I usually go to the Harvest or Flemmings for my Birthday this year it was Flemmings! The filet minion just melts in your mouth. Ah so good! It was very romantic and wonderful just to be with Mike on my big day. We shopped at Gate way and hung out by the fire, fountain and Christmas tree. Then we headed home. Mike gave me a camera (yes my other one got stolen) for my Birthday a month early so I could have it for Disneyland. I knew he was getting me something else though, but I wasn't holding my breath just incase he didn't, but he did!!! Disney Kinect Adventures and I ended up staying up late playing it :)

Thursday- Thanksgiving morning Mike went golfing with his family and I headed to go duck hunting with my family. Sadly I didn't get one, but my brother did since they flew his direction and not mine. Later that day Suzanne pick Pey and I up and we headed to Bountiful for Thanksgiving dinner at the Altoms. We ate a delicious meal and played Mafia and Scum. I was actually winning for once it was great since it was only my second time playing Scum. And of course we watched lots of football. Jason and Adam taught Sharolee and I how to play Risk. We didn't ge to finish, but we have a few pictures of the board. I was really a relaxing day just to vegg out. This year I was Thankful that I was not sick on my birthday and on Thanksgiving.

About 10PM my best friend Spencer picked me up and we headed to Wal-Mart. Yes we are crazy, but it was a lot of fun. I got some really great movies for cheap and other stuff I can't say because Mike reads this :) Then we headed to Khols and it was also madness. So we hid our stuff in a coat and left so we could pick it up the next day. It was around 2 or 3AM and I was tired. We did stop at BestBuy, but the T.V. didn't compare to Costo prices.

Friday- Mike and I went shopping for our families presents and just hung out and played some COD. We went over to my parents for some Thanksgiving leftovers and to take pictures of Pey in the leaves.

Saturday- Mike, Whitney, Pey and I went to the Muppets. Mike absolutely loved it!! I did a lot of playing with Pey in the hall way. She was way to hyper to watch a movie then will all of her running she crashed and fell asleep. I got to some of it and liked what I saw.

That night we went and got some yummy Indian food with my parents, Colton, Lynne, Payden and Annette. It was first time for a lot of them and I think they will all go back!

Sunday- Church of course and then we went to Mikes family for mine and Jasons Birthday Dinner! I got and entertainment center a few months ago, but Suzanne got me a giftcard to Tai pan!! Sneaky lady oh and I got a ton of hot coco wrapped up like a kiss! Those Zippro's are clever aren't they! Strawberry cheese cake for dessert! Jason and I were in heaven! We talked the night away and laughed at Pey she is good and entertaining us. Now that she is walking everywhere she is has a lot more bonks too. She is so fun and so hyper.

In conclusion it was truly an amazing week! I was defiantly spoiled! I really am so lucky and so grateful for all of the family and friends I have. I really love each and every single one of them! Thank you everyone. I am so blessed!

Hawaii Day 10

Our last day we slept in and packed everything up. We met the family out at the pool and played there and in the ocean. It was the only cloudy day and it did eventually rain a little. For dinner we went to a Sushi place that we found online that was recommended by locals. It was quite the hole in the wall. I thought the food was great and the rolls were so big!

This conclueds Hawaii! We flew 7 hours and I wore a BK crown and this little kid though I was weird till I gave it to him. It was nice to be tan for a while and so nice to see Pey when we got back she was standing up and holding on the couch and walking.

Hawaii Day 9

Today I had one thing on my mind Surfing. I knew it was another free day hanging out at the beach. Mike and I woke up and got breakfast at this cute little shack right by our hotel. Then we headed to where the rest of the family was.
Jason got a horrible sun burn from the sail boat and the trap the day before.
Here they are building the famous Hall sand Castles!

I rented a board with Amanda and we headed out to brace the waves all by our selves. No instructor! It was a lot of fun.

Heading back this is about the point I got sick. It could have been the Marlin jerky, yes fish jerky the locals eat it like candy. I'll stick to deer and buffalo.
Jason, Amanda and Adam were on the front of the boar where the trap is when they hit a wave they would fly up. So they had to hold on tight!

It was late in the day when we got back. We at a "Cat" Restaurant and Michael got the best fish n chips! We went and got gilato after that yum!

Hawaii Day 7

Mike and I switched Hotels today and headed to Kaua’I Beach Club Lodging!

After we got all settled we went to Tube the Flumes!
It reminded me of cave tubing in Belize. This is also where the filmed Tropic Thunder.

Mike and I didn't eat with the family this night, he took me out to Kalipaki Joes. I loved it alot more than he did.
We didn't even come close to finishing these. They are HUGE!

I keep saying oh its was my favorite day no this. Ok this was one of my most favorite days!

Makai Golf Course

I tagged along with Mike, Michael, Adam and Jason. We all got in the Jeep and headed to Makai in Princeville, HI it was oh an hour or two away from where we were at. Michael was driving and we kinda got lost, but that's okay oh and a bus driver gave us the bird :).

We arrived and hurried and warmed up. It was breath taking I think next to surfing and swimming with sting rays it has been one of the most beautiful and amazing things I've ever done.

I forgot to metion this was Jason's first time golfing and Adam doesn't go much.

It was an amazing day, 18 holes were conquered by The Halls! They even gave you moist towelette when you finished. They were soaked in cucumbers.

That night we went to the Smiths Luau. Where they buried a pig in a pit and cooked it! We then ate it what is called Kalua pork. It was amazing and for me that is saying something coming from a non pork eater.

It took a few times for the drunk guy to get a clear picture.

11 Months

Only one month away from her big day! I feel like my little baby has changed the most in this month.
Here is a video just to show you how big my little girl is.

The first part is a few weeks ago, then the last part is today. You can see her scoot backwards, walk, clap and wave bye bye. I tell her not to take out her pig tail and she shakes her head NO at me... She also says Uh Oh, Kilo, Ma ma and Da da!

I look at her and realize where has my baby gone? She is jabbering, walking and getting into everything.
* Mama is now her favorite word! :) She also says Kilo it's more like Kee oh, the L is silent. My friend Kristen has been teaching her to say Kristen. Pey just goes KKKK it's cute.
* If I asked her where her puppy is? She will either got crawl on him or just look at him and laugh. She also mimics his barking... (Which luckily doesn't happen very often)
* She has either here baby Minnie Mouse with her or a Lemur. She carries it around as she walks it's really funny.
* Anyone anyone has food she says MMMM and then with sign more. She even does it to strangers... And when we go grocery shopping she does it down every isle. It is cute and people always top me to talk about her.

* I gave Pey her first hair cut, if you can call it that. All of her hair was the same length except this little tuft that was from her newborn hair. I guess it wasn't really a hair cut more like one little snip.

tI've been thinking lately that I spend a lot of time doing a whole lot of nothing. I mean I don't sit in the corner and stare at the wall kind of nothing, but nothing that is going to benefit my life. I want be able to look back in 5 years and accomplished something other than making a really cute daughter. I have decided to re-evaluate my time. Now that Fall is here and Winter is soon on its way. I need a plan... I am worried that I might go stir crazy. My Mom keeps telling me to get a hobbies, so here's to hobbies and goals!

1. Read the Book of Mormon by Christmas. Our home teachers were over and read us the First Presidency Message for October. Precious Promises of the Book of Mormon. I had a really strong feeling it was something I need to do.
I was reassured this feeling again tonight by Elder Mathew Halls letter. I cried like a baby when I read this. I hope to one day serve a mission.

"I wanted to share a really special experience that Elder Leo and I had yesterday.

Here in Jardim da Penha (where we go to church each week) we have Sisters who are now in the area. Sister Powell and Sister Michelotto are two of the four. Yesterday they asked us to visit a man with them named Pedro. Pedro is a 94 year old man. He is the founder of the Presbyterian church here in the state of Espirito Santo. He has a grandson that is a bishop in São Paulo and a Great Grandson who is serving a mission right now for our church but he has never met the church. He had his first contact with the sisters a couple weeks ago and was able to come to General Conference and hear the Prophet's voice. Since that time he has been progressing quite well despite his position in his church and has received an answer to his prayers that ours is in fact the true church on this earth. The Sisters explained that Pedro had a lot of questions about the Priesthood and they thought that Elder Leo and I could help him to understand a bit more being Priesthood holders. As we sat down with this incredibly sweet and ... ancient man. We taught about the Priesthood power and authority in the time of Christ and how it has been restored in our days. Teaching him that he too would receive this authority after his baptism in the Church of Jesus Christ. The spirit was very very strong in this lesson - stronger than I´ve felt in a long time. Elder Leo and I continued boldly testifying and we invited him to be baptized. He started to explain how hard a change like this would be in his life. First off he is 94 years old... Second his responsibilities in his church are more than few. When He said this I felt really strongly to share with him the passage in the Bible in which Christ commissions his disciples to follow him. The Scriptures say that "they straightway left their nets and followed him". I testified that Christ was asking him to follow him more perfectly and become a true disciple, that he would have to leave behind his nets and straightway follow without delay. The spirit was very strong as I looked straight into this mans eyes inviting him as a representative of Christ to more fully follow him. Pedro explained that after this week he will be traveling for about a month. The spirit was so strong so we invited him to be baptized this next Sunday! That's a little uncommon seeing as we usually have to have people interviewed for baptism one week before they can be baptized but this man falls perfectly within the requirements of D&C 20 37. This Sunday he will be baptized. I fell in love with this old man and he strengthened my testimony. =) Yesterday was one of the highlights of my mission - a very special experience.

I know that we too must at times examine our lives. Find what nets are between us and the Savior. I encourage you to think of something that might be between you and serving the Lord more fully. Leave behind those nets. They might even be something good but something that you could give up to serve the Savior more fully."

2. Craft. I made a few Halloween decorations this year and Pey a skirt and some bows. I have a whole list of things I want to make it's just a matter of getting to courage to attempt. Girl and crafty and all that is not normally my style, but I'd like it to be. Well at least a little.

3. Cooking. We eat out way too much! It's so hard when we have a JCWs just down the road. I got a wok for Christmas last year and the only thing I know how to make with it is Stir Fy. I am going to take more and more cooking classes. The Indian one I took was fun and I can't wait to attempt the recipes.

4. Kilo. Training is still under way. He is so much better than he was when we first got him. I just hate how excited/disobedient he gets around new people and other dogs. He is still considered a pup for another year so I guess I can't blame him too much.

5. Internet. Spend a lot less time on Facebook, DinosaurHands, Mousewait, Twitter, Imagur, Ksl, Blogger, Glitch, Micehchat,Youtube and many more. I think some moderation here could be good. I don't spend my life on it, but I feel like its part of my every day routine.

6. Temple. I go at least once a month with Mike, but I think I'd like go alone or with my friends during the day.

7. Music. I have no idea how to read a single note. Peyton just loves it when I attempt to sing to her. I would like to learn to play and instrument or even just read a few notes of some sort.

8. Service. I feel like I don't serve enough, I've always wanted to go to a soup kitchen. I am a little scared I know that is a dumb excuse.

9. Health. Working out is getting harder and harder the colder it gets and the older Pey gets. I still go as much as I can. I am trying to eat better too. Which is hard because I really eat the crappiest food. I think if I logged what I ate everyone would be shocked... Oh well at least I get one healthy thing a day right?

Halloween 2011

A few weeks ago after the Saturday football games we went up to Midway to Colby and Heather's house. Heather made some delicious fajitas. If you are ever up in Midway and love hot chocolate go to Filler Up it's my favorite, it's dark chocolate and Girahdelli. Annette hates it, but I love it. She got a Egg Nog shake at Grannies in Heber which is also yummy! Then we went to Walmart to pick up the supplies. Mike and I usually have a game plan, but this year he didn't even come to the store with me. I'm blaming it all on that ha ha ha.

Colby and Heather made the scariest church. The detail was AMAZING! and lets not forget Heathers pumpking with a witch hat ;)

We decided on a castle, Mike really wanted to do zombie gummy bears. They were really cool, but clashed with my Disney castle idea. As you can see...

And for the winners Payden and Annette. I'm not sure what it is, but it is cool!! My favorite is the roof and the stone on the bottom.

Wednesday 26th we had a Halloween party with my Elementary School friends and Mikes High school Friends.
I had to tell you that they are from Valley View Elementary because it makes me so happy to say that. I love that we have all stayed friends this long. It was so fun planning and eating and talking. I am an idiot and didn't take pictures. I was just to busy to even think about it. I will show you some of the food I made. These are not my own images, but you get the point.

On Friday Pey and I met Mike at this work for the office Trick or Treat. It was kind of an excuse to get more candy since Pey is only 10 months old, but no one seem to mind. I even dressed up. I knew all of those nerds would appreciate our costumes.

Oh lets not forget Mike works right by Costco so we went there after. Mike had a his normal clothes on underneath so he just changed in the car. Which means Pey and I got stuck looking like a bunch of weirdos. This little 5 year old boy walked up and just starred at me. I finally said Hi. Mike thinks he was trying to see if I was the real Princess Leia ha ha ha.

We were set 5 bags of candy, pey was in her costume, Mike was answering the door I was finishing up making mummies for dinner.
I could here Mike doing his best Yoda voice. He'd say "Ooh yes high midi-chlorian count she has." "Ooh stinky bum she has mmm yes." and other things like this for a good half hour and he actually sound pretty good it was rather funny.
It was a good hour and half into the night i'd say 7:30 and bam Mike said "He Nikki we're out of candy." WHAT! I was a little sad the nearest store is 15 minutes away. I thought with construction and the lines I'd better just turn off the lights. Yup I was a little sad. Then I realized what that meant. Pey and I could go trick-or-treating! That's just what we did. It was so fun I felt a little silly so we only went around the neighborhood to people I knew. She'd see the candy and say mmm which of course made it all worth it. Oh and lets not forget her costume rocks!! We came back and watched walking dead with Phil and pretty much concludes our first Halloween as a family.
After we changed out of our costumes. Phil came over and we watched Walking Dead it is so intense! I take my eyes off of her for two seconds and she always manages to get into something :)

Hawaii Day 5

Sunday
We woke up at went to church. It was neat to see the Church outside of Utah. The members were all so nice! Mike and I were sitting across from a 7 month old and we couldn't help but tear up. We were missing Pey. I am still really glad she wasn't there because of all of the fun things we got to do. That we wouldn't have been able to do other wise.
Us girls were in Relif Society and they asked us our names and to tell where we are from. Then I heard a lady say Sister Snow from Pleasant Grove. I turnned around and sure enough it was Mrs. Snow that teaches Chemistry at the highschool. I never had her, but she caught me sluffing once with a student of hers... She was actually pretty cool about it ;) Anyway it was neat to attend church. I usually don't go to church on vay cay, but i'm glad we did.

After Chuch we went down to the beach to take some group pictures. What bunch of good lookin' people don't cha think??

This one is my fav. The surf kept coming and we'd all jump up it was pretty funny.

After that we went to this we went to one of Kauai's famous spots The Spouting Horn. It was pretty cool, they also had some cute little shops too.

Then Michael wanted take us to a local beach he had read about.
It was quite the drive on dirt road the van didn't make it, but luckily we had the Jeep!
I think everyone had a great time other than Sharolee's hurt leg and Adam gluping in too much salt water and it coming back up. It really was a blast!!!!
We made sand castles, boogie boarded, body surfed and played in the ocean.

Yes the waves were huge, literally walls of water as you can see here!

We came back and got in the pool and enjoyed a nice sun set.

10 Months

On Sunday we were watching Conference and Pey let go of the couch and took two steps before face planting. She has been doing it ever since. I am very exciting for her to walk, but at the same time I know I will be chasing her everywhere!
Now she is letting go and taking 3 steps then the face plant or she has learned to slowly sit down. She will let go of what ever she is holding and just stand frozen for a good 10 seconds.

* She loves to hold on to the couch and walk all the way around the room. Dad loves to let her hold on to his fingers and walk around the house.
* Her vocab is more than just baba dada and mama. She says Hi and Sit. Yup I was yelling at the dog the other day to sit and she said it clear as day. I got it on video, I should probably post it.
*She dropped her bottle behind the couch and said UH OH! I've been trying to teach her that for a while and now she says it all the time.
* One of my most favorite things she does is if she eats something she likes she says mmmm. Cheese, Ice cream and Applesauce (homemade) are her favorite.
* She still loves to smack her lips
* She shakes her head NO and smiles because she things she being funny.
*She loves lifting up her shirt and covering her face with it, she is playing peek a boo.
* She has been upgraded from a carrier to a car seat, and from a Mazda to an Xterra!! I think she likes being able to see out and not having her legs smashed into the back of the seat.
* I can ask her where her baba is or where Kilo is and she will go to it/him.
* Peys personality is really shining through. She is always so happy and just wants you to play with her on the floor. Like I said earlier with "NO", she is going to be a little stinker. If I go to pick her up she trys crawling away.
* Shes been sleeping till 4:30, she does go to bed around 8:30. I need to keep her up later....
* Still size 3 diapers I think they are finally starting to fit right. Her legs are so little, but she is just so long.
* Her clothes sizes are about 9-18 months I just have to try everything on her. She was playing with a 17 month old and was just about as tall as her.
*Still my long skinny baby!
*Pey likes to copy you, if Kilo barks she tries. When Mike sings or makes noises she tries to it's pretty darn cute.
*It's safe to say she had her first taste of Dr. Pepper. I had a little left over and it was watered down. She was screaming in the back of Paydens car and that's all I had and it worked for a little bit.
* She is still just so happy and very talkative. She still lets you know when she is hungry its quite the ordeal.
* Pey still signs more, but sometimes she claps. They look pretty much the same.
* Peyton went to Disneyland for the 1st time!
* Peyton went to the Pumpkin Patch and had her first Halloween Party!

Good Things Utah
My mom, Kristen and I went up to Salt Lake to be apart of the audience. Marti was leaving the show and we were lucky to get tickets. I tried when Reagan left, but no dice.
Getting there took forever lets just say I could never work in SLC. The traffic was awful! I'm sorry for anyone who has to endure that.
We got up there just to watch the end of Daily Dish. We watched the show and it was really cool to see the set. It is just one giant room. They make it look like the kitchen is far away, but in reality it is just right there to the left of them. The girls were on this platform that you can just wheel around it was kind of funny.

Oh hello don't you think i'd be a good host on GTU, they are looking for 2 more in the next few weeks to hire.

Kris could be the other host with me. They need some younger girls on there.

They were both so nice and really down to earth. Angie is awesome and of course my favorite. She is 40 and you would never know she looks like she's 30!!
Necia had the cutest pants on! She told me they are Genetics from Piperlime. I looked them up and they are only $200.00 ha ha ha hey Mike they on my wish list hint hint! She did say "I love them they are my favorite jeans and I'll wear the heck out of them."

There we were scoping out Parry Lake, we were looking for some Mallards to slay. Franklin spotted some and that's when Mike put the sneak on. Colton, Lynne, Theresa and Dane stayed on one side of the bank and we walked up the other side. We found some ducks and Mike was ready, gun in hand. There were 2 hens and 1 drake. He shot the Drake!! Colton shot the two hens! It was a great moment. We had Ace with us and it was so fun to watch him work. He swam out there and got the ducks, what a good dog.

Everyone was happy we wanted to continue, because there were ducks everywhere, but we have tix to the BYU game. I think it's safe to say that Mike has the itch for hunting. He even said at the game "I'm ready to go again." He was feeling very good and so he wasn't his hyper self, but he still was pretty happy.

Jesus wants me for a sun BEAM to shine for him each day!

Right now I just want cry. I just found out Brother Hall and I have been released. I knew it was coming and it is time, but I am very sad. I love those little kids. I am going to miss feeling the spirit ever week during singing time. Their little tender voices will forever make me smile. Yesterday was the Primary Program and they all did so good! Every single one of my 6 said their part and yes they all had them memorized. I was one proud teacher! They learned Praise to The Man and sang it, I loved listening to little voices sing such big words. For example: communed, Jehovah, anointed, dispensation, ascended, and Mingling

I hope I have taught these little one as much as they have taught me. Every week I think to my self be like a little child.

Each week Mike and I would giggle at some of their answers and things they would tell us. I am going to miss that a lot. Like how "18 is really really old!" One kid drew a picture of his dad frowning and I asked why? He said "because he is always worried about money".

I often wondered if our lessons go in one ear and out the the other... A Parent told me that her daughter got mad at her for doing laundry on Sunday because "Sister Hall said that's a chore and we don't do that on the Sabbath". I was happy because 1. She remember Sabbath and Sunday are the same. 2. To keep the Sabbath day holy. Proof they do listen! I will never forget the time I drew a Zebra with strips horizontal and not vertical and I'm still not hearing the end of it.

Yesterday the lesson was on Being a Friend. I asked the kids who their friends were and one of them said "Sister Hall" it was the sweetest thing.

Hawaii Day 4

I woke up rather early, I feel like The Halls knew how to handle the time change a lot better than me. I'd say it was about 6AM HI time and 10AM UT time everyone was asleep. I found out later Suzanne was at the store, but everyone else was sleeping I was hoping by this time to be sort of adjusted, nope not quite.
I went outside to watch the sun rise against the palm trees and had some nice alone time. I was soaking in the beauty. This is about the time I twittered this picture as I sat and watched the surfers for a while.

The picture above was about 30 feet from our room that we stayed in at Waiohai beach club. It really couldn't have been better. Amanda came and found me and told me breakfast was ready. After we ate we all went out and walked on the beach. I was told to find a red tent and that's where they did lessons. Today was our relax day. Nothing planned and that meant I knew exactly what I had planned!! We found the hut and made an apt. at 1:00 which was around high tide. Until then we swam and relaxed. I talked Amanda into to making an apt to go with us.

It was time! Adam our wonderful photographer came out to cheer us on.

First we had to learn how to stand and get up on the sand.

Then we carried our boards over to where we surfed, they had us carry them on our head. I think this was the hardest part of the whole day.

We had a blast!! I will go every time I am near a beach it was so much fun. If you've never done it you should try it. It won't disappoint.

For dinner this night we went to a Chinese restaurant. It was actually pretty good, a lady told us all of the locals go there and so we check it out. I sure do love some good fried rice.

I only have half a husband in this one ha ha ha

I would say this was one of my most favorite days of the trip. It is hard to compare because they were all great.

Summer 2011

I figured since it is the last day of Summer I should probably post some of the pictures we took they are mostly of Pey :) Sorry I still need to finish the Hawaii post that was our highlight of this summer.

Mike and I drove to Jordan Commons with all of his work and saw Harry Potter in the IMAX. It was HUGE and awesome! Oh yes and I dressed up :) this guy from his work told Mike he'd make me a wand and he sure did!

We went to Ben Folds at Salt Air with Phil. This is not our first Ben Folds concert and it won't be our last!

We have a park that's pretty much in our back yard. Pey isn't quite old enough to understand it, but she sure loves dogs!

I worked backstage at the Kenny Chesney and Tim Mcgraw concerts. I got to see Tim up close and personal and same with the band Perry and Pat Garrett! It was freaking awesome!

Teething this summer has been so much fun... NOT!

For Paydens birthday we went to wait drum roll please...... Yup you guessed it Los Hermanos. We go there ever year for Paydens big day. Pey loves fried ice cream and whip cream!!

I was shocked to see her eat this. She is like her daddy, can't get enough of pickles.

Mike got me a present and some how she ended up with it. Sneaky little theif!
She loves Rice Crispy treats just like her Momma!
Her hair has grown so much this is a very recent picture, it actually lays down. I can now a pixy Kate Gosseling look. Peys is much cuter fyi.

She HATES canned peaches, but loves fresh ones. And also loves Fresh Peach Shakes at T.A. Yes I do believe the youngest fan right here.

I went with Mike, Suzanne and my Mike. The nearest Utah fan was at least 10 rows away. I was the only person in read in a huge sea of blue. With in the first minute we scored due to BYU fumbling. 8 Months
Mike and I just got back from vay cay and I have to tell you Pey has sure grown in 10 days. We come home to find this little girl climbing on everything. She's an animal I tell you!
* Cuddling more and more everyday. She use to head butt, now its turning into nuzzling.
* Trying to walk, she can move about the house as long as she has a hold of something.
* Her grandpa Frank has taught her to love ice water. If you have a cup she wants it!
* She is snorting like a little piggy! Dane plugs her nose and she does it even louder. Thanks for teaching her that uncle Dane...
* She is still diggin the sippy cup, but I give her a bottle too.
* The attitude is only getting worse with age. Her little fits make me laugh, for now.
* 1 tooth is visible with every smile, but I can barely see a top one too.
* Pey loves the door stops after so long she rips them completely off.
* She likes to think her favorite toy is my computer, she rips the keys off. I can't find my 3 or 5....

9 Months
We just got home from the doctor. It was not a fun appointment. Pey is sick and all she wants to do is be held. I missed her 6 month.... I didn't know she got shots then so today she got an extra shot, 5 in all. The nurse was really fast and normally Pey will do the silent scream and ten let it out. This time it was more of a sad little whimper cry. I'm not sure whats worse? She seems to be happy, but not standing on her legs as much today. Doctor C was surprised to hear she trying to let go of things and walked. He laughed and said she will be walking in no time. That scares me she is already so active as it is....
* Her weight is 18.7 lbs and her height was 30.5 or 31.5 shoot I forgot the paper they give me. Anyway I remember the graph very well she is still OFF the chart 100% percentile.
I really don't like this teething think that is happening right now. She never sleeps. My mom told me that "kids usually take naps then as they get older their little naps combine into to one big nap". I said nap? What's a nap?? You'd think if she doesn't sleep in the day (except in the car) then she would sleep like an angel at night. NOPE! She is into this phase where she wakes up and whines not a cry but a whine. She doesn't sit up or stand just lays there. This happens about every 2 hours I pick her up rocker her for a few seconds put her back down and go to bed. Then 2 hours later do the same thing. She wakes up at 6:15 and when I walk in she is standing this is when I know there is no going back to bed for me :( Can you tell I'm not a morning person?Now with all that being said she is the happiest little bug in the world.
* She yells when we have food and I know that means she wants it, I've been teaching her to sign more and she is finally getting it!
* She stands by her self for a few seconds then falls on her bum.
* P forgets that she needs the couch to walk, she lets go and tries on her own and it ends up with a face plant.
* Her left eye is sometimes lazy the optometrist said it should go away as she gets older.
* She loves her daddy! No joke he left for work one day and walked out the door and she threw a little tantrum he heard her and came back in she stopped. I wanted to see if she'd do that for me. Not a chance. She loves Mike. My favorite is when he comes home from work and she has a little happy freak out everyday every time.
* She loves fresh peaches, but not out of the can.
* She crawls like Moglie (the man cub on jungle book) up on all fours.
* She has 2 teeth and when she bites it really hurts :)
* Her feet hang out of her car seat I think it's time to upgrade!!

Dane and Devin stuffed pillows in their shirts and were being sumo wrestlers. They were so kind and let Pey play with them. Why yes they did stuff her shirt too....

Mike wanted to see how trusting Pey is.... Don't worry I didn't let him actually do it.

Her shots in her leg and her feet pricks. :( I think I've mentioned this before, but she rippes off her bow and will run her hand through her hair. I use to do this to put her to sleep, but now she is soothing her self!

Hawaii Day 3

We started our day off with an adventure to the Dole Plantation. I was really excited for this because I knew they have Dole Whips there!! We drove along the shore line on the beautiful drive to the plantation. We started off by going on a train tour through the plantation which was pretty neat. I was a little bummed that they had just harvested ALL of the pineapples. Which means for a lot of the tour it was fields of dirt, still very pretty though if you can believe that.

Then we walked through the garden and saw all of the beautiful flowers!

Amanda, Mike and I did the pineapple maze which started out to be pretty awesome, but then we realized how big it is and might have taken a short cut or two, but it was still cool to see and now I can say I've done it!

For our reward we got dole whips! Mike got the dole whip float which was in a cute souvenir pineapple that has a top like a piggy bank :) I got a waffle cone of course! It was everything I had hoped for!

Then we headed back to town and down to Pearl Harbor, this was very neat! There was a very different feeling there. I guess the pictures will have to do the talking for me.

This pic is just scary hair has taken over Amanda, the sun is killing my eyes and some random guys and his kid decided to smile for our picture. Other than that the Halls look great!

We stopped at this local place for some lunch. It was a total dive, but the review were amazing so we ate there. Everyone loved their food. I ordered a teryaki burger expecting it to be like Carl Jr because that is my favorite burger. Nope it was gross, but I had some of Mikes fish and chips. They were delicious!!! YUM! We then met up with Sharolee and Jason and headed to Kauai! While waiting Shawn Bradley walked by he is very very tall man. He played for BYU and later when pro.

On the plane it was a short little flight about an hour i'd say. They give this juice from Hawaiian air, not my fave but Mike liked it.

Mike rented a Jeep Wrangler, he has been talking about this for months. He even got red for me :)

Hawaii Day 2

Woke up at 6 and went to the gym, let me remind you that 6am HI time is 10am UT time :) My view was palm trees and ocean as I ran. Yup it was a great work out! We left then for the temple. We were all planning on doing baptisms, but if you have been endowed they won't let you unless you have your own names so Suzanne and I were workers. It was very neat to even be there so I didn't mind too much.
I had a very spiritual experience that I will never forget. Mike was able to baptize Adam and Amanda. I am having a hard time explaining this, but the pride and love I have for Mike grew. I am proud of him and so happy he was able to do that. I am glad he is a worthy priesthood holder. I am lucky to have him as my husband. I love you babe!

After that we went to the Visitors center, but it wasn't open yet. We decided to get some grub while we waited. We ate by an ice cream shop. I saw they had boba!!!! One of my most favorite treats ever! I was in 7th heaven. I ordered my drink and Mike got a Hawaiian snow cone. Let's just say they know how to make their snow cones!!
I learned something about my mother-in-law and slimy stuff. She is not a fan! I made her try my boba and she nearly threw up.... I won't do that again. I felt bad, but I'm glad now it is something we can all laugh at. Oh and boba is tapioca before they dye it and cut it into tiny pieces. It really doesn't have a flavor, but I love how chewy it is. They put it in a flavored drink, I got coconut for my flavor.

We then headed back to the temple for the tour at the visitors center. It was neat to learn about LDS Hawaiians and their history. We also got to learn some really neat things about the temple. There is in fact an angel Moroni on the temple in two of the freezes, but he is not alone and gold on top like you would normally see. It is such a beautiful temple!

After that we drove to Hakilau Beach where we took some awesome pictures.

We had some time before we had to be at the PCC and we went to BYU Hawaii... Yes I did go on campus :) I saw where my mom and my mother-in-law went to college.

Then we went to the PCC aka Polynesia Cultural Center. Where do I start? Okay from the beginning. First thing we did was get another lei! Then we got on this raft thingy and took a tour from our white tour guide. It was cool and very relaxing.
Then we visited each of the lands such as: Samoa, Tonga, Tahiti and New Zealand.

Mike Sr. Aka UTAH did the best he rocked as you can see!

We ended the night with dinner and a luau. Once again I was in awe. The Tahitian dancer that shake there hips super fast are amazing, but my favorite are the fire dancers!

It was a full day of fun!
I really didn't want to put this in here, but I want to be able to look back and laugh. I may or may not have woke up in the middle of the night a little wet. Yes I had a little accident. Luckily it was only a little because I realized what I was doing before it was a disaster. I'm glad my hubby still thinks i'm awesome :)

Mike and I dropped Pey off the night before since our flight was early that next morning. I showed my mom the basics of Peys routine and put her down to sleep for the night. It wasn't hard till I had to walk out of the room and knew I wouldn't see her for 10 days. I shed a few tears, but I knew she'd be in good hands.

I could hardly sleep the excitement was too much. I felt like a kid on Christmas eve waiting for a big present! Ashton dropped us off at the airport and we were on our way! The flights were long and I don't like flying it makes me nervous. We flew to Denver on a tiny plane that scared me... Yes we went backwards to Denver to go to Hawaii. On the Denver to Hawaii flight I sat next to stinky! Some girl that Mike and I think pooped her pants. That was a long 7 hours.
We arrived in Oahu and the second I stepped off the plane the air hit me. I love the smell of Hawaii! It really is such a beautiful place! We found Suzanne and Amanda and guess what they gave us a LEI!!

We drove to our hotel Marriott's Ko Olina Beach Club. I thought our room on our honeymoon was nice and it was, but this topped it! We had two rooms, one with a kitchen, living room and bathroom that went into the bedroom and another bathroom. I forgot to take a picture of the bathtub, but it was amazing. It had blinds that opened up into the bedroom. I hope that makes sense.

Here we are eating dinner at Longboards, I got a Kalua pork quesadilla and it was amazing!

Then we went and swam in the ocean till dark, it was so fun and absolutely gorgeous!!

Once it got dark we headed to the beautiful pool.

On Thursday we were at Lacey and Jeffs reception which was very beautiful! Lo and behold our friends Aubrey and Sam were their photographers. These two girl are AMAZING to say the least. They took a few of Pey that Mike and I absolutely love!!

There is no doubt about it, Pey loves sugar! They had snow cones at their wedding and Pey had her own.

Sunday: 5 Years after my accident.

We hung out with our families of course. Just another emotional 24th for me. I always feel a little different every year on that day. I'm not sure how to explain it. I was sitting there getting Peyton ready for church and it hit me. I realized she is the reason I am still alive. I know there are so many other reasons. I really feel and felt in that moment looking at her and thinking SHE IS IT. I love that little girl more than I could ever imagine. I also though about a good friend of mine who passed away a few month ago and how very real death is. I know that I have change, I never want to hurt any ones feelings, I never want to say goodbye to a loved one with out telling them how much I love them and care about them. I am grateful for my family, my home, my dog and my friends. Life couldn't get any better.

Monday: Fireworks!! Mike and I had a relaxing day at home The Parry's came over and lite some HUGE fireworks! It was a great ending to a wonderful weekend.

Pioneer Classic 10k

Saturday- Woke up at 5:30 and met Whitney at A.F. park and ride by 6:00. We headed to Provo for the Pioneer Classic 10K. I was nervous this was only my second time running for an hour straight. The buzzer sounded and the race was on. We started out good I was full of adrenaline and excitement! The the hill started pretty much right away. We got to what seemed to be the top of the hill and then the turn came it was straight up and defiantly not over. This is the point that people started turning around and running backwards. This was where I began to speed walk. Psh I have not trained for anything like that beast! They weren't kidding when they said this is Goliath! I sure felt like Daivd for a few minutes there. Then we passed the 1 mile marker still climbing the hill. I thought wow a whole mile up hill. I bet my time is going to be extremely long, oh well I just need to finish! We got to the top and there was a water stop thank goodness! From then on it was up and down up and down finally down the South side of the Provo temple and back to Timpview high school.

Okay so maybe I am mean or some call me competitive , but we were at mile 4.5 and there were some girls in front of me that were with us most of the run and I didn't want them to beat me. I took off I passed them and realized I still have 1 more mile left to go. I kept going and passed a few more people. There I was crossing the finish line at 1:06:09!! I thought for sure I'd finish at 1:30:00 with all the walking Goliath made me do. I finished with a 10:40 pace not my best time, but hey something to look forward to beating!

Mike, Pey and Ashton came and found us at about mile 4 or 5.

7 Months

Another month has come and gone. This one just flew by!
*Pey is standing, well she has been standing for a while now, but she is pulling her self up! She did it a few days ago when we were out on the grass and I was laying next to her and she pulled her self up. I tried to get her to do it again and take a video, but you can't see much. Then yesterday she was sitting next to me on the couch and grabbed my hair with one hand the couch with the other and stood up. I was very happy, but in some pain. She has quite the grip.
*Her favorite thing to play with is paper. She tears it apart then EATS it... I know where she gets this from, MIKE! He is a paper eater too, ya gross I know!
* Sleeping through the night? Fat chance! I say that because last night she woke up at 2 and 4AM She usually sleeps from 11 to 6:30 which is okay. I don't like this new little schedule of hers...
* Pey is addicted to otter pops, her dad gave her some of his and now if we have one she cries till she gets some. When I do give her some and it's gone she cries, trying to explain all gone to a 7 month old HA!
* Da Da is still her favorite thing to say. I say Ma Ma and she just says Da Da even louder :) She is screaming a lot more especially in places that are dead silent. She has to fill the silence with screams or giggles.
*Diaper is a 2-3 the 2s are defiantly too small and 3s are big, I'm glad they have the 2.5s.
* Even though her nose has been non stop runny and she is always drooling she is extremely happy for a teething baby. None have broke through yet.
*When I wipe her nose she makes the sound as if she is blowing her nose with her mouth it's funny. Another thing I need a video of!
*The electronics need a new place to stay. She crawls right to them every time.
* When she is not happy she is whiny and wants to be held.
* I can't leave the room with out getting a little tantrum out of her. I have to talk to her the whole time I'm in a different room. Unless she is in her bed then she knows and won't cry!
* She loves her bouncer and loves to jump. Even when we take her out she keeps on jumping!
* Pey loves her aunts they watch her a lot and I know she loves them all! Thanks Aunties!

She likes to stand on the couch and watch who ever's in the Kitchen usually da da making her a ba ba.

In Mom and Dads bed, she kept trying to wake him up. She loves to cuddle with her daddy!

I find that someday I just have to get out of the house and this is what we've been doing. She is a water lover! She loves splashing then hates that she has water on her face, it's really funny to watch.

Here were are at the Disney store trying on 2T swim suits. Yes you read that right 2T!! I didn't like the baby ones anyway and the clerk told me they fit really small so maybe that is why she fits in this. Na I think it's her height!

Friday
Heathers Birthday Party up in Midway. It was so fun and way beautiful. We played volleyball and ate some delicious food!
Pey hung out and jumped on the tramp with uncle Colby.

Saturday
Went to Transformers with Colby, Phil and Mike. Payden was on a fire just in case you were wondering.
Later that night we went to Dinner at Terra Mia with The Halls.
Then to Stadium of Fire!!! We took Pey, maybe I'm a bad mom. She liked the fireworks though. We were nervous about her little ears. I got out the shooting muffs and when she had those on all she could do is stare at the fireworks. No smile and no tears just pure fascination!

Monday
We all woke up around 5:30 and headed to Provo for my Freedom Fest 5k. It was amazing and so fun. I will do it every year as long as I am not with child.

I wanted to stick around for the big Provo Parade, but I was STARVING. Gandies wasn't open so we headed to Village Inn with our friend Phil.

Mike and I stopped to get the Hall's family fireworks and fresh peas on the side of the road! We got a really big one and I was AMAZING!

We went home showerd got ready and by that time it was 4:00 I got put on home made cream duty. Made that went to my parents to say hello since they were gone The Narrows and Fish Lake.

It has been a little less than a month and I think so far so good. Strawberry D ays I defiantly had the most adrenaline starting out. Lehi and Steel Day's were pretty tough. It was hot and I was sore. My favorite so far has been the Freedom Festival. It was a great run I felt like I could have done the 10k. I booked it up the hill at the end and had so much energy the whole time. That is kind of funny since it is my longest time. I thought today at Steel Days I was draggin' A and behind pace... Sure enough I got a new P.R.!!
I am nervous for the 24th not only is it my "birthday", but I have signed up for my first 10k, the Pioneer Day Classic. My goal is just to finish that one. Walking is defiantly and option here :)
I may have been a little too excited :)

Guess who is trying to crawl!!! She looks like she is head banging to a song. Its quite entertaining!
Pey is really good at crawling in circles and going backwards. She gets really frustrated sometimes when she can't go forward. I bet in 2 weeks she will be going forward.

Trying to crawl on our bed, she gets stuck in this yoga downward dog pose. It makes me laugh. Her little bum just up in the air.

In the video she torments Kilo and laughs a lot. The last few seconds she springs forward, she does this after a while of rocking. ENJOY!

Pey won first place in little miss Americana 0-9 months! I got her all dressed and we were on our way to Pleasant Grove. We paid, got our judgment cards around 9:30. It was the rodeo royalty who judged her. They asked does she have any talents. I laughed and said yes, she loves the scream and laugh. That's about the time she belted a half scream half giggle. Just like we had trained her to do ;) I also said she can sit up and say da da. Peyton smiled and laughed at the judges and I saw one girls score card with all 10s so that made me happy.

I went to my moms since our judging was over. We went back to hear the results at 2, I was supprised how many people and babies there were there. They annouced all of the regular categories like 0-3mo. 4-6mo. 6-9mo. 9-12mo and so on. Which I didn't enter her in, not sure why. Then they go to the specialty categories. Price and Princess, Princess, Strawberry Days. By this time I was trying to keep Pey from slobbering everywhere when they announced "Peyton Hall" it caught me off gaurd. There were soooo many elaborate and cute outfits for her category that I had a lot of doubt. Sure enough she got her trophy and certificate. They took our picture for the paper and gave us the parade info! Smiles all around!!!

We have been playing Peek-a-boo with Pey for little while now, but yesterday she grabbed the blanket from dad and instead of him putting it up and down she started doing it!!

6 Months

Really has it been half a year!!! Time to have another one, just kidding! This little princess sure is growing. She brings so much joy to our family we love her so much.

* Dada dada da da da is what we wake up to in morning. She also says ma ma and baba, but da da is her favorite by far.

*Mike told me last night that when you put your finger in her mouth to feel for teeth she does it back. I tried it and she really does! So cute!

* This is hard to explain but, you can tap her mouth and she will yell so she sounds like a Native American.

*Sitting on her bum. She falls over a lot so I make sure to have her practice on the couch.

* Stubborn like her mom.... She is still trying to sit up and does little crunches she gets frustrated and tells me so, then I help her.

* I love her giggle, she has some cute little rolls on her legs and you can squeeze them and she laughs.

* If you sit her on your lap facing out, she will lean back cock her head around and stare in your eye and smile. It is my most favorite thing.

* She is a cuddle bug. If you have her facing you she will put her head on your shoulder.

* She likes to stick her tongue out at you, I think it's at night when she is tired that she does it the most.

* When I am holding her and trying to get her to take a nap or sleep I brush my hands through her hair. If I forget she does it her self. This really is so precious and cute.

* She loves Kilo, she loves petting him and smiles every time she sees him walk in the room.

* She is reaching for me and I love it!

* She is still trying hard to crawl she gets into the yoga downward dog position with her lil bum in the air. She crawls in circles, but doesn't go anywhere unless she is rolling.

* Pey bangs on stuff kind of like if she were playing the bongos. She especially loves banging on my computer....

* She is fascinated with remotes. I don't know what it is, but she loves them.

* Her hair is lightening up YAY! It has a tint of red probably comes from dad and his red beard, but she is going blonde!

Usually I leave her in her carrier and take he in the store, but she was awake. After walking around for a little while she fell asleep so with my sweater and her blanket she slept in her "bed".
She grabbed a piece of lettuce and thought it was the coolest thing in the world.

Today I ran my first official 5k!

Whitney, Lynne, Annette and I were all there are ready to rock an roll! I am going to go into a bit of extensive detail and this is my apology. I want to keep this record so I can read it in years to come are remember the start of my running career.

My morning began at 6:00 am not a time I am friends will 7 or 8 is better. I got dressed in my running git up then woke up Mike then Pey got her stuff already. Took Kilo to do his business and fed. We left home about 6:50. Got to the fire station and met up with the girls. Pick up my packet, which is a new running term I learned. With your number, shirt and other goodies.

We all were taking a picture when the gun went off..... By that time the starting line was packet!!! We actually didn't start on time obviously, which means our times were off. Once we did cross the starting line it was a little awkward trying to get past people to actually run and not walk another time killer. Then we were off! Annette took off since she is a fit little runner! Whit stayed with me to help me, what a sweetie I know. I'm very grateful since she could have beat her PR. (another running term) After a little while she asked what kind of pace and if I wanted to run the whole time and I said yes. That was my goal, NO walking!!

We about a mile in I started to get tired the pre race adrenaline was wearing off. My tummy was growling since I hadn't at breakfast. Great learning experience next race i'm eating. I was talking to Whit to keep me distracted. I told Mike this, but when we would pass people it would make me want to go faster. I would pick a person that was a little bit ahead of us and pass them. A lot of people started walking after the second mile so it was nice to pass them up and give me a little boost. Mean? Sorry... I think it's my competitive side coming out.

Once we turned and started heading back to the fire station I knew we were on the home stretch, well sorta. I also knew the "hill" I've been training on was coming up and I always walk it. With Whit by my side we ran up that sucker! I got really really bad side ache once we were at the top and then i could see the finish line. We were so close and walking was on burning in my mind. :) This is the time I started counting. 1, 2, 3, 4. 1,2,3,4. With each step, I was trying to distract my self and it worked! Before I knew it Mike and Ashton were on the right taking pics and Whit and I picked up our speed.

BoOm BaBy We FINISHED and with NO WaLkInG!

I began to dry heave, nearly puking up nothing. I got my PGFD coin, time card and doughnut!

I usually run an 11 min/mil so that is a great improvement, can't complain about that. I am a little miffed that I don't know my EXACT time. Some races give you chips so you can know, but not usually on 5ks. Anyway I'm still really proud of my self and the time I ran.

Kilo

After many years of PATIENTLY waiting. MIKE, PEYTON and I are proud owners of Kilo a 7 month old puppy. He is a Harlequin Great Dane! He is not the exact age and color I wanted, but it was love at first sight! Friends of my brother had him and another GD that is 4 they also have 3 little girl and couldn't give Kilo the attention he needs. Kilo is named after the military Alphabet. K as in Kilo, it's close to Milo ;)
In a year or two I think we will stud him out, since we have his pedigree and he is a pure bred and papered.

He is very well tempered and trained to go potty outside. He knows the commands no, sit, lay down, up, and we’re still working on stay. He will go potty in one spot, I made that spot be right by the garbage cans. Yup I’m a thinker! He sleeps at the foot of our bed on the floor. When were gone he stays in his “kennel” which is a big pantry, you’ll see the pictures below. So far there are only a few things that I’m going to have to get over or get use to. The drool luckily its only after he drinks so instead of keeping the aqua inside I put it on the porch I think that has pretty much solved the dripping slobber. He is shedding, we took him to the doggy wash today and gave him a bath. He is still shedding like crazy, guess I will add vacuuming and sweeping to my daily ritual. I’m okay with this, it’s a simple price to pay for a GD.
He likes to lick Pey’s face which is another thing I’m going to work on him with. Last, but not least he doesn’t know the command PLACE and if you have an inside dog he needs to know place. It is the best command ever. Our friends Brittany and Jay have a dog name Cali that you have probably seen on my blog. Here, Here and Here! So if you say “Cali Place” she will go to that spot that you have designated her spot and will not move until you say her release word. I hope that in the next few months I can teach Kilo this.

It is hard to see, but she drew Kilo with all of his spots and his thought bubbles. In the thought bubble she drew her self, "have fun" and "I love you"! How adorable is that?

5 Months

Pey got measured again this month her Length 27'' = in percentile 95 Weight of 15.18 = between percentile 25 and 50 .

I took her a few days ago because she had a really bad cough that was keeping her from sleeping. No infection just a little cold, the cough sounded worse than it really was.

*She is still chewing on everything. If she grabs your necklace or a toy well anything really it goes straight to her little mouth. Depending on what it is she will either keep sucking on it or spit it out.

* Her most favorite toy is a plastic bag or anything that crinkles. I have to watch her carefully since those are so dangerous. She loves them though!

* She laughs so hard when you tickle her then I start laughing at her and she laughs because I'm laughing. It's really quite entertaining :)

* She is one rollie drooly polli girl, if I leave the room I am shocked to see how far she has "traveled".

* If she is unhappy put her on her feet and she will start smiling again. She loves to stand. I try not to do it as much I want her to crawl first.

*Peyton is now eats 1 solid food a day, oatmeal or rice cereal right before bed time and formula through out the day.

*She can hold her own bottle now which gives me more time to get things done. She has to be flat on her back to do this though. If she is in her stroller or carrier she drops it a lot.

*She loves solid food! Prunes and Pears and Bananas are her favorite. She doesn't like Peaches.

* She is trying to crawl, but doesn't go anywhere. She gets frustrated and I have to help her out.

* P loves to be upside down, Mike discovered this... She smiles every time though!

* She is reaching for people like if someone else holds her she will reach for me! I love it :)

* She says ma ma ma still and my parents heard "Hi" out of her which is what I say to her a lot. Who knows though. Really early for chatter I think. She is babbling brook that is for sure. On car rides it is very entertaining.

* Her bald spot is filling in. It is defiantly still there, but I see fuzz so there is hope!

* She loves her feet, sucking on them I think is her favorite she also loves to pull of her socks....

* She has also learned to pull of her head bands. She even stretches them way and and smackers her self in the face...

* She hardly sleeps during the day, a half hour here or there... She is sleeping through the nights really good! Occasionally she will wake up 4 to eat then back to sleep.

* I've been calling her BOO the last few days from Monsters inc. I'll put a picture up in the next post so you can see why.

* Up graded the diapers from 1-2 now to 2 since she has gained some weight.

* Pey is wearing 6 to 12 month clothes depending on the brand and if it shrunk in the dryer.

SHE DID IT!

I've been getting emails that tell me what to do and one of them says to clap and cheer her on when she does something good. So now every time someone claps she smiles because she thinks its for her. It makes me laugh!

At the splash pad in Alpine, the babies were chilling. She love the outside, even sitting by a window is good enough for her.

Today about 4 hours ago we got curbing! Yay finally we can start the garden and the planting.

When your in the construction biz you know who is good and who isn't and these guys are fantastic!
Frank came over and check it out he showed me that someone had stepped on it in 3 places. Yes I am fighting mad. Pissed actually.
I called up Accent and he told me how to fix it, he is coming back in a few days (this is where he will blow off the silver look and leave the texture and seal the color) and will fix it then, but for now he told me to do my best.

I got out the water and butter knife and scraper and worked away. Then I called Mike.
Tomorrow I'm going to wait and watch and see who cuts through my yard, I measured the shoe size and I'm guessing its a Jr. high kid that got off the bus.

Pey fell asleep out in the sun chilling with momma.

In a week we will dig it all out and replace the house side with sifted dirt and start planting. :)
